Thank you for requesting this and I will open up a Feature Request for it on your behalf to show the growing demand for such. I'm really glad to see that someone else besides myself has been thinking about this as well. I actually really happen to strongly agree with you on this as I have already brought this to the attention of our development team for an option to " Subscribe to Threads " some time ago and to include a Thread History which I would imagine to be extremely useful to you and many others.
I don't think that they've gotten to it yet since they are more than likely working on other issues and things ahead of this right now but the moment we know something more about it we'll inform you.
Additionally, As far as I know you should actually already get a response with threads you are apart of everytime there is a response I believe. I know this happens on our end and I think it is the same for users the last time I checked so that actually takes care of the notification but I've still pointed it out in the feature request. Perhaps you didnt' receive the email as maybe it went to your spam folder?
Thanks. Let's hope it happens.
My reason for asking is that I saw something that interested me on a thread yesterday, but I don't remember whichthread it was. It would have been really nice to subscribe to it.
Also, I am not sure what happens if someone other than the original poster inserts a post in the thread. Do subsequent posts get notifed to both the original poster and the "interloper".
Having the ability to subscribe and unsubscribe to a post is a really a useful feature. In the meantime you can reply to that thread for you to get a notification once someone updated that thread.
You will be notified via this thread if any update is available.
