Approval workflow outcome redirect to custom page

    Hi,

When sending an approval flow to a customer, they receive the approve/deny button and when clicked they get redirected to the jotform website. My customers are getting confused with this and I wondered whether it was possible for them to click the approve/deny button and have them redirected to a custom page letting them know they have approved/rejected a proof and what to do next.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks in advance

Unfortunately, currently, it is not possible to approve or deny the approvals directly from the email.

However, if the email seems confusing, you can customize the email sent to the approver, and for example, add a text that the approver can approve or deny the application after opening the link in the email.

The approver will not need to be logged in, and they do not need a Jotform account, but they will need to open the Jotform website from the link in the email.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

It does seem to approve/deny the approval workflow directly from the email, I'm just wanting them to go to a different page rather than the jotform inbox. I see in the source code that the buttons have class="mceNonEditable". Is it not a simple fix to change this so when they click approve/deny, they are redirected to a thank you page rather than the inbox?

Could you please give us more details about your concern so we can assist you properly?

    What kind of different page?

    Regards.

When the approval workflow is sent to the customer, they click approve/deny, and it redirects to a page that confirms they have approved or denied, rather than going to the inbox page.

Hi twprinting, thank you for providing us with more information.

I have cloned your form and was unable to recreate the issue. Would you allow us to submit test submissions on your form?

    We await your updated response.

There is no issue, I just don't want the redirection to the jotform index

    Hi,

After the user clicks on approval in the email, it should redirect them to the Inbox page. Do you mean when your users approve the submission, it will redirect them to the JotForm login page?

Would you please make sure to disable the "Require Login for approver" option in the approval setting?

Please give it a try and let us know how it goes.

I have disabled the login requirement, however its the redirect I'd like to change, rather than it going to the jotform inbox, I'd like it to redirect to another link/page set by me. I managed to do this with the edit submission link on my form, but I prefer the way the approval workflow works. Is this going to be possible for me to do?

    Hello there,
Unfortunately, this is not possible as Approval emails are automatically redirected to the inbox page and it's not possible to redirect it to a different URL.

    Regards.
