    Jquery interference/conflict on my website

    Asked by poopselfie on March 04, 2014 at 11:22 PM

    Any workarounds for this yet? The lightbox is a great tool, but it isn't compatible with a lot of .js scripts.

    Hi,

    May we know the website URL where your lightbox form is embedded so we can check it here and provide you a fix if necessary? It is easier for us to diagnose the problem if we're able to view it on our browser.

    We'll await your reply.

    Thanks!

    I've edited the post to include the URL. The top nav bar is supposed to smoothly scroll down to each section when clicked. Due to the lightbox script at the bottom of the html code, the buttons do nothing. If i change feedback2, to feedback, they sections now scroll again, but not smoothly, they just jump to the sections, but it also hides an entire jquery enabled section of my page labeled "web-store".

    Hi,

    Here's a fix.

    1. Find this codes on your page. It started on line 97.

    <script type="text/javascript">

    jQuery(document).ready(function($) {

    $(".scroll").click(function(event){

    event.preventDefault();

    $('html,body').animate({scrollTop:$(this.hash).offset().top},1200);

    });

    });

    </script>

    Then replace all the 3 dollar sign "$" with jQuery. Example: jQuery(".scroll").click(function(event){

    2. Next, find this code on line 456.

    <script type="text/javascript">

    $(document).ready(function() {

    var defaults = {

    containerID: 'toTop', // fading element id

    containerHoverID: 'toTopHover', // fading element hover id

    scrollSpeed: 1200,

    easingType: 'linear'

    };

    $().UItoTop({ easingType: 'easeOutQuart' });

    });

    </script>

    Just the same as above, replace the dollar sign with jQuery.

    Save it and check your page afterwards.

    Hope this helps!
