    PayPal sandbox payment not showing as submission

    Hi there. I am hoping I can use JotForm to take membership dues through PayPal but I am having some issues. I have setup a form that collects basic info and has the PayPal integration (sandbox enabled). When I submit the form it sends me to the PayPal sandbox page and I complete the payment but the submission never goes through to JotForm. I have removed the PayPal element from the form to make sure that the form works otherwise and it is fine. Any thoughts on why the submission is not going through?

    Thank you for contacting us.

    It is most likely that we do not handle sandbox submissions as real payment submissions. Your sandbox submissions should be available under 'Incomplete Payments'. You can manually complete these 'incomplete' submissions to finalize submission process.

    I will also submit a ticket to see if this is a correct behavior for PayPal sandbox submissions.

    Bo,

    Sandbox payments are supposed to be counted as a completed submission. I have just performed a few tests and each one was successful.

    It is possible that the notification from Paypal that triggers the completion of the submission might have been delayed.

    Can you please try again and let us know if the problem persists?

    In addition to my previous response, it is also possible that IPN is disabled for your sandbox seller account.

    To enable:

    1.  Login to https://sandbox.paypal.com with your sandbox account
    2.  Go to Profile -> Instant Payment Notification
    3.  Enable IPN with URL https://www.jotform.com/ipns/paypal.php

    4.  Save your settings then test again
