Multiple signature needed for workflow process

Hi, I am currently trying to do a form that uses the approval workflow process.

For this form, the employee will first submit it and there will be a signature field in the form for the manager to sign. I followed this https://www.jotform.com/help/432-a-general-approach-on-building-an-approval-process-workflow/#_ and managed to get the first signature done.

The problem I am facing now is after this manager has signed the form and submitted it, it needs to reach another person which is the director and the director need to sign it as well. However, by following the link above , the director is able to alter the signature of the manager which is what I do not want. What this director is allowed to do is to just sign, approve/deny.

Another issue I am facing is after I click approved, I was able to click back and edit the form and click the approve button again in the email. Does that mean the second approve override it or it did not go through?

Kindly note that every submission can be approved/denied once. Also, the approval decision can't be changed.

Editing submissions has nothing to do with being approved or not. So, editing an approved submission has nothing to do with the approval status.

so if let say I need the person to edit the form to sign on the signature widget and then approve, can it be done?

Please note that flow will restart when a submission is edited.

So, if you edit a submission and sign the form, the approval flow will restart, but you can approve/deny it after the edit.
