I have embedded the code from JotForm onto my WordPress page. I see the security seal appear at the bottom of my form and then when I go back to check on the broswer, the seal is gone.

May we know the website URL where the form is embedded so we can check it here? But first, I think clearing your browser's cache should resolved this problem. Would you mind checking it again with your browser's cache cleared? Please update us when you can. Thanks!

Upon checking your web page, I found that you have not embedded your form using its SSL embed code. Please check the screenshot below:
Please be noted that security seal will only be visible when form is accessed / embedded with its secure URL. Please embed your form with its secure embed code. The following guide should help you : https://www.jotform.com/help/63-How-can-I-receive-SSL-Submissions
