Hi, I have a form whereby user A will filled in two or more managers email for them to put their signature.

    Example:

    1. Applicant fill up the form, put the email of 2 higher ups.
    2. Manager A received the email, click on edit link and put the signature on the signature widget and approve.
    3. Manager B received the form with the filled up form of applicant and the recently added signature of Manager A. Manager B will edit the form as well and put his signature , without being able to touch anything else, including Manager A signature.

I am able to do the first two step by using the signature and get page url widget for the first edit link, but how should create a second edit link for Manager B to edit? I tried putting another get page url and include the edit link in the email but it seems like it doesn't not work.

    Thanks!

    Hello Anthony,

Thank you for contacting Jotform Support.

This flow can be done better with an Approval flow that utilizes Approve & Sign element, please check these guides to learn more about it.

How to Create Multistep Approvals in Jotform Approvals

How to Set up the Approve & Sign Element in Jotform Approvals

I believe that the form which you are trying to apply the flow to is this form, please allow me some time to review it and I'll get back to you with my findings shortly.

    Thank you for your patience.

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I understand that there is a Approve & Sign element, but I need the physical signature to appear in the form for the applicant to print it out at the end.

Will the signature from that element appear in the form? If not, are there any other ways I can make it happen?

    Hello Anthony,

I sincerely apologize for my delayed reply, I've checked your form and I believe that using an approval flow with 2 approving steps (2 Approve & Sign elements) and adding a Send Approval Report element at the end of the flow will cover the required flow since the Approval report includes all the approval actions and also the approvers' signatures with the applicant form, this PDF report will be sent to the applicants email so they can print it easily, please check this guide to learn more about the Approval Report.

How to Set up the Send Approval Report Element

The below screenshot demonstrates the suggested approval flow.

Please give it a try and let us know if you need further assistance, we are happy to help.
