Form Collapse - Issue setting conditions

Hi, I'm working on a form where I would like to have a few sections with form collapse based on conditional answers, but I am having trouble creating the rules. I have inserted the Form Collapse section. I select it, press setup & embed, select 'conditions' and then show/hide a form field and press next. The issue arises when I try to use the condition wizard. I select the question I would like to have the condition based on and all that happens is the condition wizard box disappears and the whole jotform page greys. It doesn't ever get past that.

Is there a step I'm missing? How do I add in the section that allows me to write 'equals to'? Is it possible that the problem is that I want it to be condition on a question that is not a 'yes or no' question, but rather longer answers within a checkbox question?

Unfortunately, form collapses and page breaks don't work well together in our forms. This may be the cause of the issue. Please use either one or the other and then let us know if you are able to get the conditions to work as desired.
