    Conflict between scripts

    Asked by nvhuk on July 02, 2010 at 05:02 PM
    Hi, I was integrating jotform into my website, and I have found that the "prototype.js" file is creating a conflict with my other javascript and is causing other functions of my website eg. scroll down menu not to work. The scripts used are below:I would appreciate if anyone could help me solve this conflict so that I can use my website and JotForm together. Thanks

    It's not possible right now. We are considering to port our form scripts to jQuery or converting it to a standalone script but right now the only way to resolve this conflict is to use either SCRIPT or IFRAME options.

    Actually, jQuery 1.4.2 has a means of relinquishing control of jQuery to other libraries using the $.noConflict();

    Just place on the line before the Prototype scripts and jQuery will not run.

    Had the same problem, but this worked like a charm.
