    Java script slideshow error

    Asked by advancedperformersstudio on July 19, 2011 at 07:41 AM

    Hi there,

    I am using jot form to implement forms throught www.advancedperformersstudio.com yet there is a conflict stopping the slideshow actually working... it's ok an all pages except the jform pages.

    I am assuming that its a java script clash... any chance you now of a bug fix for this?

    Thanks guys,

    Great program by the way!

    Hello Kevin,

    You can try this:

    1.) In your webpage, find this part:
          <script src="//cdn.jotfor.ms/jotform.jgz?3.1.110" type="text/javascript"></script>

    2.) I'm not sure if I'm seeing two of them, if so, remove the other one.  Make sure as well that there is only one code of this inside your webpage:

         <script type="text/javascript">
             JotForm.init()
         </script>

    3.) Now, place the jotform's script source code (the tag in step 1) inside the header tag, on top of other script source referencing tags.  Or if you're having difficulty following this step, just place it belowthe link tag for clean.css so it will look like this

    <link target="_blank" href="clean.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
    <script src="//cdn.jotfor.ms/jotform.jgz?3.1.110" type="text/javascript"></script>

    4.) Save your webpage and test.

    If it does not work or you need further clarification, please do let us know.

    Thanks,

    Liyam

    Hello Kev,

    I have checked your source code.  Please move the jotform script source higher.  Or find the clean.css script and put it below there:

    ===============================================================

    <link href="fresh.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
    <link href="clean.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />

    <Place your jotform script source here>

    <script type="text/javascript" src="jquery-simple-slideshow-example/jquery-1.2.6.min.js">

    script>

    ==============================================================

    I also noticed that you have a number of jotform init scripts

    Please keep just one and delete the rest,  then save your web page.

    Please check if it works.

    Thanks,

    Liyam
