    Suggestion and Plea re Conditions

We use lots of conditions on our forms. It would not be difficult for Jotform to make it 100X easier for to set up and review conditions.

PROBLEM 1: Cannot see enough info

This is a problem in two places:

1 On the page with the list of conditions,

2 On the page where I edit a condition

In both cases, I can't read most of the name of the fields. You could fix this in three ways:

    1. Let the white boxes be wider (all that grey space on the right is doing me no good, and the white boxes could be even wider if you did not eat up an inch of the screen with teh pale grey background to the left of them)
    2. Allow the conditions to wrap to a second line if needed to show the full length of field names
    3. Show the full text of the conditions when we hover over them.

PROBLEM 2: Show the field numbers

You recognize when I am on the page where I edit a condition that it is helpful to have the numbers that let me keep track of fields.

    1. It would be helpful to show those same numbers on the page with the list of conditions.
    2. It would also help to be able to toggle on and off to display those numbers on the Build page.

    Hi there,

Thank you for dedicating time and thought to help us improve our products, that's really appreciated.

I'll forward your advice to the development team for further research and maybe they'll decide to implement these offers.

We will keep you up to date if there will be any development in this thread,

    Thank you

We love JF (and the support).

    The two big frustrations are:

    1. needing to use CSS to style everything--menus would be such a big help
    2. tracking complex conditions, as discussed above.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

My colleague already escalated the feature request to our developers.

As for the custom CSS code, that is only for styling purposes only. You can use our Advanced Designer if you want to avoid creating custom CSS code. You can also contact us and we will help you by providing the custom CSS code you needed for the form.

For conditions tracking, instead of browsing all of the conditions, you can try selecting the form field associated with the condition you're trying to track/find. With this function, it will only show all conditions related to the form field.
