I applied fr this job on LinkedIn which seemed legit and they texted me and told me to get telegram and text an interview code to a link they sent. After briefing/interview I was told to fill out this jotform which asked for photos of my drivers license and I also was told I will receive a check in the mail to pay for expenses of the job's software as I am to take $500 from that check as a sign on bonus then use the rest to purchase equipment. I just want to make sure im not wasting my time with some scam and someone is stealing people's information. Please help.

    Hello,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. If they're mailing out checks to buy their own software that's a clear sign that it's a scam.

We want to assure you that Jotform is not participating in this conduct. We supply a form builder, and unfortunately, some parties may use the forms for wrongful purposes.

I have suspended the user and disabled their form.
