Date picker default (MM-DD-YYYY) available in French?

    Hello,

    I'm trying to change the field default for the date picker field. My form is set to "Francais" but the default text for the date picker shows (MM-DD-YYYY) and I need it to display "mm-jj-aaaa" which is the French version of (MM-DD-YYYY).

    English - French

    Month - Mois

    Day - Jour

    Year - Année

    Am I missing something to be able to make this happen or is it something that does not exist in the current date picker for a French form?

    Hi @KasiaMajewski,

    Looks like there is no option to translate the placeholder value, word 'Month', 'Day', and 'Year' at the moment. I will escalate a request to our backend team and once we have update, we will inform you.

    Meanwhile,  you can add a (JJ-MM-AAAA) as a sub-label:

    Hello Kasia!

    We will work on adding a feature you requested and keep you informed. For now, I suggest you to change the language of your account to French. Then the form builder will create any new fields in French and the placeholder DD-MM-YYYY should b in French as well.

    Thanks to you both for your suggestions.

    We are a bilingual organization and every form we make has to have both an English and French version, so we need our account to be able to handle both languages. That's why we have an English account, but have set the language parameter for this and other forms to French when we need a French version.

    What we have done as a temporary measure is to display the current date but we look forward to having your solution in place so that we can display the French alternative to DD-MM-YYYY.
