Web Design

I am not sure where to start. I need to build a website on a domain I have with go daddy. I need the bare minimum for the look of the website. A down and dirty site to enter information.

So the site will ask the questions shown on the attached excel sheet. The information entered will need to come to me in an excel format (or csv).

Some of the data I will have before they hit the website - it is coming from another source and in excel. I would like to have that somehow upload (eventually) and prefill the site when I send the link to the person completing the questions.

The point is that I will have some of the info sent to me from one source, the rest from the client. I want to automate this as much as possible to create a single spreadsheet with all of the info in the order shown. We can manually enter it until it can upload.

is there a tutorial or something? I can not attach the excel spreadsheet to this email - you only take jpegs.

Hi there - Thanks for reaching out.

Unfortunately, we don't offer web design services. Just forms that you can embed on your website: Embedding-a-form-to-a-web-page/

If you wish to proceed creating forms with us, you can upload your Excel file to any 3rd party cloud services such as GoogleDrive or Dropbox then send us a link here so we can see and understand your requirement better.

    Looking forward to your reply.

I do not have google drive or drop box. I can email it to you - the attachment tab does not do anything

You can email us the file to support@jotform.com and mention the email subject as Ticket#3474504.

What exactly does the excel filecontain?

The user will go on the website (I have that ready with godaddy). They will enter the information requested. I just emailed the spreadsheet to you with the ticket number. I have the user answer the question in the correct format and when they hit enter, I want to have the information emailed to me in an excel file.

Confirming receipt of the excel file in our email.

Unfortunately, it isn't possible to import form fields from an excel file. You can, however, build your online form using your excel file as a reference.

Also, I'm afraid it isn't possible to attach a submission copy in email as Excel, only PDF.

You may consider collecting all information and then download all submissions at once in Excel. Here's how-to-download-form-submissions-as-excel-csv-pdf/

Any format other than excel will not work - any idea of who might be able to do this?

Sorry about that. You may try reaching out to other form providers online such as Google Forms and the likes.
