Is it possible to have the dynamic fields field from the widgets panel to be filled in on each level depending on a certain number being filled into a short text field

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Can you further elaborate on this matter? From what I understand, if you input a certain number in the number field, the dynamic dropdown field will autofill with a certain value based on that number. Am I correct on the scenario you're trying to portray?
If this is the case, you can use the Spreadsheet to Form widget to populate a certain field using the data from the attached Excel sheet to the form. This widget will allow you to upload a spreadsheet to your form and use the values you have on the spreadsheet to pre-populate your form based on a unique code that the user will input.
You can check this guide for more details: https://www.jotform.com/help/442-how-to-use-the-spreadsheet-to-form-widget
Let us know if this would work for you.
Best regards

Thank you for your response,
So my aim is to have a written number placed into the SAN number box in the image. From here I am needing the dynamic field to fill in the relevant fields. In this case it is the B&Q fields filling automatically.
I have had difficulty using the spreadsheet with the dynamic dropdown widget. Is it just not compatible with this widget?
Kind regards

Hi Sumecuk!
Yes its possible to use or to have dynamic field or having your input to another tab
In order to do that, you must have 2 identical forms (form1 & form2),
where the client / customer will enter the input on the form1 and will populate on form2
Here's my sample:
Form1 : https://form.jotform.com/213020963443448
Form2 : https://form.jotform.com/213055187619055Guide Reference : https://www.jotform.com/help/351-how-to-automatically-pass-form-data-to-another-form/#img5
Hope this works!
Question? don't hesitate to post them in our Support Forum. -

Hello,
Thank you for your response however it is not quite what I am looking for.
So I am using the spreadsheet to form widget and filled in the SAN number. The brand of the product has been auto filled correctly from the spreadsheet. However the field with the red arrow pointing to it does not fill in. What do I need to add to a spreadsheet to ensure that it fills the second and third layer of the dynamic dropdown.
Kind regards

Hi,
The widget cannot be used to fill this field, here is a list of fields that the widget can fill:
- Full Name
- Time
- Short Text Entry (Textbox)
- Long Text Entry (Textarea)
- Dropdown
- Single Choice (Radio Button)
- Multiple Choice (Checkbox)
- Scale Rating
- Star Rating
