Hello, how do I move to the next row in the text field? (Usually by pressing <Enter> or <Return>, but with Jotform, it jumps to the next field. For example, consider a multiple-choice question below:
- Which of the following is/are considered as fixtures?
(i) Ceiling Lights
(ii) Refrigerator
(iii) Build-in Wardrobe
(iv) Grille Gates
a. (i) & (iii) only
b. (ii) & (iv) only
c. (i), (ii) & (iv) only
d. (iv) only
i can’t skip to the next line.
- Which of the following is/are considered as fixtures?

Hi there - You can press Tab to go to the next row in the Multiple Choice field.
Give it a try and let us know if you need further assistance.

Hello.. what I meant was to jump to the next line within the text box itself… like:
“ I like Jotform very much”… (from this)
”I like jotform
very much” (to this)

When I put in the following text to the text box:
- ”Which of the following is/are considered as fixtures?
- (i) Ceiling Lights
- (ii) Refrigerator
- (iii) Build-in Wardrobe
- (iv) Grille Gates
it becomes like this:
Which of the following is/areconsidered as fixtures? (i) Ceiling Lights (ii) Refrigerator (iii) Build-in Wardrobe. (iv) Grille Gates
i can’t put the text into multiple lines.

Thanks for the clarification. Text boxes don't support multiple lines. Please use the Multiple Choice field instead.

Just to add, in case you only want some texts to be input in multiple lines, you can use Long Text field.
