Hi Mubeen,
When submitting the form with dummy information (false credit card number) I get the attached error but the form still submits to our team.
Do you know if I can update the settings of the credit card portion with First Data to require a valid credit card number?

Unfortunately, updates are not available as of the moment.
Once we have further information, you will be notified at this support ticket.
May we know if this issue is only happening when you use the form builder?
Thank you.

This is happening on the live website as well. This form was previously not letting users submit if the credit card number was invalid, but now it's just submitting to the error page I showed above. There used to be a red notice that would indicate that card number was invalid.

I have tested your live form and it seems it is showing an error when I input incorrect credit card numbers.
Also, the submission was not saved.
Kindly check and let us know if the issue still remains.

I believe there was red error message that indicated that the credit card number was incorrect before the user had to submit the form. Is this new standard error reporting functionality for when an incorrect credit number is entered?

Hi,
If a credit card is incorrect, it is standard functionality that the error message will be displayed after the submit button is pressed, and the form will not be submitted. -

With this specific form, there is an Adobe sign field that is signed and submitted which alerts our client that someone has agreed to pay. Is there a way to prevent this from also submitting if the credit card information is invalid?

Also, is there a way to submit the form and trigger what a successful valid credit card submission should look like without actually submitting a real credit card? Like a valid test credit card number?

Hi again,
Emails triggered from Adobe Sign's end can't be turned off within Jotform. Please disable this option in the authenticated Adobe Sign account settings.
Unfortunately, it's not possible to validate credit cards without filling out the payment field. However, we do offer Test Mode for all payment integrations to test the integration using a test card.
Should you have any further inquiries, we will be more than happy to help.
