Mollie: Thank you page shows after cancelled payment - No submission

    Hi,

I have a form with payment provider Mollie. After filling in the form and paying the thank you page shows. But when someone cancels the payment, the thank you page also shows (instead of an error message or so). What can I do to generate an error page instead of the thank you page?

    Thanks!

Do you mean that if a user clicks on the "back to payment methods" button in the chekout proccess, he will be rederected to the Thanks You page, as jotform thinks he completed the form?

Let us know, so we can properly test from our side.

We will wait for your response.

    Hi,

    Yes, that's it.

I made a test form where you can test (https://form.jotform.com/213084668805058)

When you choose bancontact for example as payment method, you get to the bancontact page to fulfill payment. When you click 'annuleren' (= cancel) you get to see the thank you page, so it look like you have submitted the form but it didn't.

    @elien_dh

    Thank you for following up.

I have had a look and can replicate the same outcome. No matter which option I select, when going back it directs me to the Thank You Page, without being submitted.

As such, I have gathered the information provided and escalated the matter to our development team. Could you please provide the link to the form you first noticed this issue?

While I cannot provide an ETA as to when they might have a resolution, rest assured you will be notified here of any updates.

In the meantime, perhaps add a notice to your form to notify submitters that their transactions will not be processed if they go back.

    We appreciate your patience!

    Hello,

We are sorry for the issue you experienced.

Mollie gets two url for the integration: webhook url and redirect url. Unfortunately, Mollie doesn't get cancel url parameter for some reasons. I checked their API document and it is still same.

There is an opened issue on Mollie project about cancel url. You can see it here. I will ask this issue to our contacts from Mollie and if they can implement cancel url, we can also update it easily.

    Thank you for reporting.
