Is my form to long?

I am concerned that my form will be too long so I am considering putting a few questions per page to make it fewer pages but I know people like one question per page better so I want to ask any advice related to this or some information

How many pages is the average form?

How many pages is a long-form but professional and successful?

How much time does it take to fill the average form? Long-form time?

any example of a successful company with long forms?

My form will have like 240 pages if I put a few questions per page and like 1300 if I put 1 question per page but clients will have to interact with lie 10 pages if is many questions per page or 25 pages if only 1 question per page. (the form in the link is not complete, I will create either 1 or 5 pages for each of those 200 subcategories)

    What do you recommend?

    Thank you very much!!

    Hi there,

I just checked your form; it mostly has the checkboxes. Your form is already quite easy to fill/complete. The card layout (single page layout) is more attractive and might keep your user interested in filling your form.

As far as the success rate of form is concerned, this really depends upon your target audience. As we don't have any information about that, we can't comment on it. This is something you'll need to find on your own.

This article should give you useful tips and tricks to build a successful form: https://www.jotform.com/blog/successful-form-structure/

    I hope this helps.

    Hello!

    Thank you for reaching out.

You can create as many pages as you like, so since you have about 240 pages, I recommend using page breaks to make your client's job easier. Click the "Add New Page Here" button in the form builder for adding the page break. Or, use the Page Break form element.

The video provides step by step guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qd3LPAYbBo

    • Using page breaks decreases the exit rate of your form drastically.
    • The form looks much shorter than before.
    • The form seems neater and fits better to your site without changing the overall design.
    • It helps to break the form into logical sections and feels much more natural.
    • It looks so much easier to fill for busy people.

Let us know if you have any additional questions.

    @grakotaco9

I've checked your form and having 15pages for a card form is normal
but if you're still want to check for some tips check this link

    Guide Reference: https://www.jotform.com/blog/successful-form-structure/

and to make it shorter I suggest since there's an option at the beginning "What type of service are you looking for?"

Much better if we're going to apply Conditions
    For example
    1636209003 6186916bb50f8 Screenshot 10
It will be redirected to the Interior form on page 7
    1636209073 618691b167d98 Screenshot 21

then Redirect to page 15 for personal info

I tried to run your form and some of your forms didn't show up. pages 12,13 and 14
and need to check on page 4, only the Back and Next button no questions, etc.
