SeniorscholarsncAsked on November 6, 2021 at 3:43 PM
I am with an organization that has 1000 members and an open website.
seniorscholars.net
I would like to put out a "directory report" only to members.
Access control private says only open to those who are invited.
What is the best way to keep the directory secure.
1 - I could make a form that uses the spreadsheet to form and ask for there email address,
then if found show a paragraph with a link to an open "private report"? or does the link have to be a Public report?
2 - Send each member an invite - not a good idea and difficult to manage.
Your thoughts are welcome.
thanks - steve

Hi Steve,
Happy to help!
If you went with option 1, you could have the first page of the form be an Access Code that you've only given out to those you want to access the form/spreadsheet. My colleague has described how to do this on thread https://www.jotform.com/answers/923197
There is also the option of using our password protection feature on your form (which would look similar): -how-to-password-protect-a-form
Would either of these options work for you?

Hi, Steve
To add to Katherine_W's answer you could also restrict access by domain name under the publish settings in the builder, please see the following:
Please let us know if you require any further assistance or information.
Have an amazing day. -

Hi there,
Access Settings are available on TIERS, meaning you are able to use this regardless of what Plan you are subscribing to.
Here is the related guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/1205-how-to-change-the-access-settings-of-a-form/.
Let us know if you have any further questions.
Best.
