how to limit the response number of anwer options?Asked by concordiashanghai on March 18, 2014 at 10:11 PM
like i would like to make the selection only availabel for 1 time.
if it's been selected, it will be gone from the drop down list.
during the survey open period, if the selection is picked up by mistake, can i put it back on to the menu that allow people to see it again?
Unfortunately, we do not have such features. It is currently not possible to dynamically remove items from the dropdown.
If you want to just limit your form's submission by allowing only one entry for every selection of your dropdown, it is possible to achieve. You need to limit your form by making the "Dropdown" question as a "Unique Question" which will ensure that the submission with the same selection is not accepted more than once.
The following guide should help you: http://www.jotform.com/help/223-How-to-set-Form-Limits-Based-on-a-Unique-Question
Hope this helps.
