Email fields do not correct the wrong/invalid punctuation in the email addresses

    Hey guys,


    I used the Email Correctness Widget INSTEAD of the regular quick tools email text box and WITH (both on them on the form) the regular quick tools text box and the emails with the extra punctuation are still allowed to go thru. 






    The Email Correctness Widget informs the user that the email MIGHT have an error but does not stop the email from going thru, second the messages that are produced from the widget are ENGLISH and I need this form to display only FRENCH messages, is there any way to change that. I searched the languages tab as I have done with the other messages and no luck.

    Hi Nick,

    I was able to reproduce the issue. The regular E-mail field and the E-mail Correcness Check will allow to submit email even with punctuation that is not allowed in email addresses. So, I have forwared this issue to our next level support so that they can correct it as soon as possible.
