Forms appear in Google Search...still

    I need ALL of the results that come up in that search removed from the Google Search index, for EVERY form in our Jotform account. If you search "habitnu jotform" you'll see what I mean.

    This problem has been posted before:

    These all pertain to jotforms that are linked to (ie, their domain is jotform.com), not embedded in a page. If the form is embedded in a page, then yes, if the page is public all its components -- including the embedded jotform -- are going to get indexed. But I cannot embed the form because we give the link out to our clients, some of whom include the link in email.

    Another approach is to password-protect our forms so the Google indexer can't get to the page, but I can't do that because our forms need to be accessible to a population whom we cannot give passwords to.

    These pages can be removed using Google's RemoveURLs Tool followed by setting the noindex tag in the header of the form's page. There could be a feature in the form builder's Settings to add the noindex tag to a form.

    Can you simply remove the URLs to our forms using the RemoveURLs tool?

    @teknomath

    Thank you for reaching out.

    I apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, I have no information aside from what is provided in the listed tickets that might help you. However, I have opened a feature request to make indexing by search engines optional.

    While I cannot make any guarantees for the implementation of such a feature, rest assured that as soon as there are any updates, you will be notified here.
