Jotform URL inquiry

Hello- when I ask users to submit a Jotform, is the link a universal link (so it is not personalized?)

I have a user that submitted a Jotform, but i would like them to edit what's been submitted as they forgot to upload some files. How do I do that? I received a email from the Jotform system that provided a link to 'edit this submission'. Can I sent them the link to that, and they can edit their entry?

    Hello,

I hope you're doing well and thanks for reaching out.

The link will be universal by default if you haven't customized it yet. Click here to learn how to create a customized URL.

As for your other question, I've moved it to another thread. Please find our response here.

    Kind regards,

Hi Billy- just to clarify, i'm not trying to make the URL naming custom. I wanted to make it so only the person who receives the link can edit/make responses (though on the back end, the data will be saved in the same place)

The form link is the universal link for that form. Unless you want to let the user edit their submission at a later date, you can follow this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/40-how-to-let-users-update-their-form-submissions-at-a-later-date/

The edit link submission is only available to the one who submitted the form.

Please check and let us know if that's what you're trying to ask. Thank you!
