I tried using the new calculation widget, but my results are not coming out correctly can you help?
I would like to calculate what the date is from a given date minus 180 days.
Input Date - 180 is what I'm using, but it gives me a static number not a date. How can I display what the date is?

Unless my colleagues have any other input. I do believe this is how the calculation field currently functions. As it does not perform date formatting.
I will go ahead and raise a ticket to the Dev Team so that they can further review the possibility of addind this ability on to the calculation widget. Now, I cannot promise such feature will be implemented nor can I provide an ETA for when this takes place. In any case I believe it is best for the Dev Team to review your input.

I noticed that your ticket is still open / pending and not updated after 708 days since you asked this question. Were you able to find an answer?
Here's a simple form that will subtract 180 days from the date you entered. The output will be in dateString format (Wed Aug 26 2015).
A lot of updates on widgets took place since the time you created this thread.
Hope this helps.
