When submitting a time function on a form, on the google docs it registers as the date the form was submitted which is unhelpful. Can date not show?

Unfortunately, I am not able to replicate the same issue here. You probably click on the column and accidentally modified the content? Can you please let us know if you made some modification to the Google Spreadsheet sheet? Note that we do not advise that, specially to the first column or the headers.

For now, please kindly try to re-integrate the form to Google Spreadsheet. See if that makes a difference.
