Aggregating Values From Tables Into a Form Field

    Hi,

I would like to create some sort of budget approval form in which I have an initial budget (which would be the first entry in the table for every specific department/section) and every expense is submitted and approved through the form. What I'd like to know is if it's possible for me to deduct all approved expenses amounts from the initial budget and fill a field with this value in order for me to make a summary document with how much from the budget is still available.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello there,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

You can make calculations across your form fields, using a Form Calculation widget, as explained in the following guide:

How to Perform Form Calculation Using a Widget

If you tell us something more about your form and send us a link to allow us to understand, we'll try to better assist you.

    Thanks for your cooperation,

    Hi,

The thing is that I don't want to perform calculations on the form's fields. I'd like to fill a certain field with an aggregation of previous submissions for a given field. For example, let's say the first submission is 100, then the next one is -10, then -5 and finally -5. I'd like a field in the form to get filled with 100 - 10 - 5 - 5 = 80.

As soon as I can I'll provide a form example for this.

    Hello again,

Where are you supposed to get those 100, -10, -5, -5, values from?

Each value comes from a different form submission?

We'll be waiting for your demo form, to allow us to better understand what you need in detail.

    Thanks for your cooperation,
