    Need access to a form.

Asked by Bruce Rogow on July 21, 2011 at 03:44 AM

I am a member of the Board of Directors of the San Diego Regional Sustainability Partnership  (http://sdrsp.wordpress.com/leadership/)  I have been given responsibility for the website and have little experience with them. The form used for volunteer registration is not working properly.  I will include a screenshot of the error that a person gets when they try to use the form.

I was able to figure out that it linked to your website under the URL:  http://jotform.com/form/10912607087.  In order for me to fix the problem I need access to the form.  We don't have the login and password because the person who managed this site is no longer with the organization.  Can you please help me?

    Hi Bruce,

    Thank you for using JotForm.

Unfortunately, for security reasons, we cannot grant you access to the form . The best thing you can do is to create an account with JotForm, clone the form by obtaining its URL, and embed it to your site. But if you really need to access the form, I would suggest you to contact your previous system administrator and ask to surrender its JotForm log-in information.

If you have any other problems, please feel free to contact us again.

Thanks for replying.  If I could find the person who set the page up, I would probaby be all set.  I don't really know how to embed a new form, this is my first attempt to troubleshoot our site so I'm learning as I go.  I understand not giving me access, but could you contact the administrator and let him know I need the access?  He used to volunteer for our organization but no longer participates and I have been given the responsibility for correcting the issue with the site.  This form is one of the issues I am working on and if you could let him know, maybe he would contact me.

Any help you could give me would be great.

No problem. I have contacted the owner of the account. It was created on Pure Water Technology of San Diego's account.
