Appointment field + DST auto change: Reminder emails are received with an hour delay after the DST switch (Europe)

    Hi there,

    we recently had a change to winter time and it seems like the appointment widget with its reminder mails got confused by it.

    It will send out the reminder mails one hour later than configured. I saw that the timezone is configured correctly, however the time in brackets is the old one:

    In this example it states 11:55 where it should be 10:55. When reselecting the Timezone it will correct this error. However I don't know if now all the reminders from past users, which are still to get emails, are now configured according to the old time config.

    Can you please check on this? Our clients would get the email on time of the appointment instead of 1 hour before, which would be too late.

    Also please report the timezone bug, if it is one, as it is creating some chaos here that we need to avoid in the future.

    Oh I have to add: Some of the emails were sent out correctly, so I am not sure what the pattern here is.

    May we know if the time zone selection is still incorrect in the appointment field.

    I have checked at my end and it seems to be correct.

    It could have been a minor issue in which our developers may pushed a fix.

    Let us know if you're still getting incorrect appointment times.

    Now it is correct, because I reselected my timezone. However, as I said, the reminder Emails may have been configured with the old time config. So that might be untouched. When I changed the "Sender" field for example all the reminder mails from applicants that came in prior to the change would be sent out with the old sender field still after the change. That is why I worry that despite having corrected the timezone, emails could still be sent out too late now.

    I believe that the Daylight saving time is updated on our backend so it should reflects on the submitted entries, you may monitor the flow of these emails and report to us if any issues occurs.
