Time widgets not working in IE

Asked by floydpr on March 21, 2014 at 01:37 PM

I needed a time picker widget that had individual minutes and I noticed the stardard oen only breaks it down in incements of 10 minutes. So, I looked at the widgets, but all the ones I choose are glitchy in Internet Explorer. Either they do not display or one of them blocks other field below. Here is a link to the form so you can see what I mean regarding that last glitch I mentioned: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/40783643445964

I am useing version 8.0.7601.17514 of IE.

I have submitted a ticket about the time widgets issues in IE. We will let you know if we have any updates on this. However, please note that IE 8 is already outdated browser, we recommend our users to use up to date browsers like Google Chrome, Firefox, IE 11, Safari (on Mac) and Opera.

Please note that we have a Minute Stepping option under Time field properties, so you might consider using it in the meantime.

    Thank you.

Thanks for looking into this. I thought you should know for your reference that on the standard time widget I tried to adjust to 1, but then it kept showing 00. When I went back into properties it would then say stepping was undefined. I finally got it to work by changing it to 5 minutes then going back to 1. But then, if I set it to show current time, it would get stuck on the 5 minute increment, even when I did my little “trick” I described above. So I had to turn off the setting for showing current time.
This happened in my version of IE (which I cannot change) and Firefox.

Thanks for reporting this issue with our regular Time field.
