    Hello!

My name is Ashley and I am interested in using Jotforms for our business. I have a number of questions and would like to discuss them with someone.

My questions range from the number of product entries to how form submissions work to the back end.

The best way to reach me is by email and setting we can set up a Zoom call to walk through the example form I have created.

    Thank you for your time!

Thanks Ken. Okay - It would be easier to go over this in person but I will use this portal.

Here is the form I am using as an example: https://www.jotform.com/build/213153284524148

    1. What is the maximum number of products I can add to the form?
    2. Can I remove the pricing from the front end of the form (this is for merchandise requests and we don't charge for merch). Right now when you put $0.00 it replaces with "Free" and I don't want it to say anything. In an ideal world I would like to add our cost so we can use to pull reports and create budgets.
    3. I want field 5 - MS Walker Manager to be the conditional field that triggers who the email is sent to. I can't test this functionality on the free version. What version allows me to test this and can we get a 7 day trial period instead of paying for the year?
    4. Do people who are submitting forms have to log in or is this available to anyone who has the link? Our current order form lives on our website protected behind a password. The limitation is we max out at 300 products and that doesn't work for us.
    5. At a paid version, are we able to do multiple quantities with the multiple sizes on the wearable products (the shirts). For merchandise, our reps can order tshirts, sweatshirts, etc and they will ask for multiples in multiple sizes. Right now I can only set the form up to add multiple size options but not multiple quantity options. When I use the "sub field" it duplicates the size and it reads across, "Size (static), Size (dropdown), Quantity (selectable)" and that isn't clean.

We will start here since some of these will make or break whether or not we purchase the product but we can benefit a lot from using Jotform so I would really like this to work out.

    Thank you!

    Ashley

    answer no.

    1. There's no limit to how many items you can put on the Product List, but it's ideal to keep your form small as you can, as it does affect the form's load speed and performance.

    2. When setting up a product item, put zero "0" in the price section so it becomes free:

However, if your payment field contains an item with a price value, selecting this all together with the free item still redirects your submitter to the Paypal payment page. Well, only the item with a price is required for payment.

Alternatively, you can also use our Purchase Order field. No actual payment or redirection should be made. Just to order and up to you to decide the payment method.

    3.
You want for Ms Manger if "Brett Allen" was selected the form will be sent also to Brett Allen??

If that's the case you can check this guide on how to apply conditions

    4. The Jotform link will depend on your privacy settings, you can set it as PUBLIC or PRIVATE.
    Guide Reference:
    https://www.jotform.com/help/1205-how-to-change-the-access-settings-of-a-form/
Users don't need to log in or have an account with Jotform to open or access the link.
Users will only stop having access if you change the settings into private and they don't have the password for it.

    5. Even on Free Version you can do that and this question is also answered on answer1

Thank you Ken, this is really helpful.

I want to test out exactly how we would be using this and I was working on adding all of our products in. Once I got to adding in 42 more it deleted the majority of work that was already in there, deleted some of my product images and that doesn't make sense to me.

Now there are only 48 products in there total. Why is this doing this? Is this because I am on the free version?

If so, how can I go about getting a 7 day trial period to test that this will work for us before purchasing?

We want to use this long term and our current solution is NOT working. We need to migrate to something better and do it fast.

Please let me know if we can test out a paid version.

    Thanks!

    Hi Ashley,

We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with the product field.
There is no limit on how many products you can add on the form, and the form should not delete them automatically.

I have cleared your form cache. May I ask you to try to add a few more products, and see if the settings are saved correctly? If the products would still disappear/behave incorrectly, could you kindly give us a link to the form, so that we can take a further look?

The Product fields and payment options are the same for both Free and paid plans. The biggest difference between the Free and paid plans is mainly related to account limits, such as how many forms you can create, and how many submissions you can receive per month. Feature-wise, you are able to use all the same features as paid plans, except HIPAA-compliance and removing Jotform branding.
You can also see our Pricing page to see the differences for the plans:
    https://www.jotform.com/pricing

Unfortunately, we do not have a 7-day trial, but we offer a 30-day moneyback guarantee for the first subscription.

Please let us know how it goes with the form, and if you have any further questions.
