Can jotform limit the number of items selected for a given field entry?

Asked by Art Semple  on March 24, 2014 at 11:44 AM

I am looking for a forms provider that can do some simple inventory control. More specifically, I have an online form requesting volunteers for different assignments. I need volunteers to do task A, B, C, ... etc and once I get enough volunteers for a particular task, I want to have the form automatically disable that choice (field) so I can then get people to volunteer for the remaining open tasks.

I have such a form already, but I have not linked it to an online database and I am looking to transition to a commercial forms processor (such as jotform) to avoid extensive custom coding.

See below for a specific example:

Is there a way I can do this using jotform?

    Thanks in advance.

You can easily accomplish what you need by using our Gift Registry widget: http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/gift_registry

It will allow you to set a number available for each option and once they are reached the options will not be availble any more.

I hope this is what you are looking for.
