    Attachment to forms

Asked by tlinhfma on March 24, 2014 at 09:40 PM

    Hi,

I have a provision for users to attach a document before submitting their forms via the UPLOAD button. When their submissions are deleted on jotform server, it seems that these attachments are also removed. Is there anyway to keep the attachments after the submissions have been deleted? Would integration help?

(we don't want to download the attachments if possible)

    Thanks a lot,

    Pauline.

    Hello Pauline,

If you delete a submission record, it will also delete the attached file as well.

You should integrate your form with dropbox or google drive which will upload a copy of submission record in the integrated dropbox or google drive account. You can also integrate your form with your own FTP to achieve your requirement. The following guides should help you:

    Dropbox:  http://www.jotform.com/help/77-Upload-to-Dropbox-with-JotForm

    Google Drive:  http://www.jotform.com/help/192-How-to-Integrate-a-Form-with-Google-Drive

    FTP:  http://www.jotform.com/help/177-How-to-Enable-FTP-on-Form-Submissions

    Hope this helps.

Do get back to us if you have any questions.

    Thank you!
