I was able to create a new form with a dropbox upload files feature...but I cannot seem to find how to add this same function to an exisiting form.
Do I need to re-create my form around the form with dropbox file upload feature?
Can you please help?

I am not sure if I understood your question correctly.
You want to integrate your form with your dropbox account, is that correct?
You need to follow the exact same process which you followed with your new form. The following guide should help you: http://www.jotform.com/help/77-Upload-to-Dropbox-with-JotForm
Please be noted that it is not possible to upload your previous submissions to your dropbox. Only new submission will be sent to dropbox post integration.
Hope this helps.

(I don't care where the submissions are saved).
Since Dropbox is not a true widget it is not allowing me to add it to my existing form.
It is an app, and I was able to create a new form with the ability to upload files...but I cannot add it to a beautiful form I already made.

You must be rrefering to our Dropbox app: http://apps.jotform.com/app/dropbox_forms
In that section is shown as an app, but it is originally an integration that you can find in our Integrarion wizard:
So, you do not need to create the form from scratch to integrate it with dropbox. You just need to follow this guide to integrate your already created form: Upload to Dropbox with Jotform
