I need to create a secure order form for my website, where I can capture credit card information, that I need to then transfer into another ordering system.

Which jot form plan do I need to get to have the necessary security features to do so, and be compliant?

    Thank you!

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

All Jotform plans including the free version have almost the same features. They only differ in limits.

Thanks for the links. I did look at the plans, so I want to confirm - Jotforms have the necessary security in place to collect credit card information, even if I'm not linking it to a payment provider?

If you're referring to the subscription payment, it will be attached to your account because our subscription is autorenewal. If you want to stop it, you need to cancel it or you need to contact us so we can cancel it immediately.

You can also use PayPal as your payment method if you do not want to share/use your credit card.

I apologize, I didn't make my question clear.

I need to confirm that I can create an order form on Jot Form to use in this way:

I work with as a distributor for a company and take orders for their products through my website.

They process the payment. I need to collect the client order information and payment information and then re-enter that data into this company's back-end ordering system.

I want to confirm that I can securely collect people's payment information, where I can see their details to re-enter into the other system. And then delete it all once I can see the order is being processed.

So, the form I create will not connect to any other payment processor.

This is a temporary solution while that company develops a proper system where I can share an order page with customers directly.

    Does this make sense?

Unfortunately, no, it is not possible to add fields in the form to collect user's credit card details. Creating such forms is not allowed and violates our terms of use.

If you want to collect the payment information from users and charge them at a later date, it is possible to achieve your requirement by taking advantage of our "Payment Authorization" feature. You may like to take a look at the following guide which should help you:
