it's just not clear if it does that. It obviously adds event but I don't want a call scheduled if I have a client scheduled at that time.

Hi there,
I understand that you wanted to know if the booking scheduler will block out times that are on your GCal if you connected it.
The appointment booking from the form and the appointment being booked from the Google Calendar works independently. If you integrate the form with your GCal, it will send the appointment time to your GCal but it will not prevent the submission if that time slot is already blocked off.
