I have created a form that will allow users to save and return later to complete, however when the user returns to complete the form having saved for later use all of the previous entered information has disappeared. I checked the advanced settings for autofil and change the time to keep the information to 2 weeks and saved, if I close the browser and return to the form and form preferences the time to save the data has returned to 1 day.

Please help as I have had two applicants that have spent some time inputting information only to find that their information has disappeared when they return.

    Hi,

Please refer to this guide -How-to-Enable-Auto-Fill-Feature-Save-Form-Entries-to-Continue-Later

In the advance settings, you also need to enable the Autofill option for the save later to work.

Please update your form settings and make sure that this is properly setup.

    Inform us if issue persist.

    Thanks.

We're glad to hear that this helped you out. I checked on this more involving question 10 with a couple different tests where I realized it is a row widget which you are using. Because of this it is only going to retain the data if it's been actually " added " versus just entered with nothing done otherwise it does not carry over including to be remembered by the browser or form's cache so that is why.

    Thank you
Is there any way I can include a button that will ‘add’ this information so that it does get included and carried over in the browser?
    Thanks

    Hi Annie,

It seems the only workaround to this is to use the regular Textboxes instead of the widget. Unfortunatelly, the widget was not included on the save session of the form.

You can add multiple textboxes and just align them in column position. You can align them using the shrink option. Refer to this guide also http://www.jotform.com/help/90-Form-Field-Positioning

Hope this help. Inform us if you need further assistance.

    Thanks.
