    Hi.

I am looking to integrate a restaurant order form into my website via JotForms

is there a way for the customer to add a tip, at the end of the form?

    Hi there,

There is no direct way for you to get the tip from your user. Though you can use these 2 workarounds that we thought of for your form.

First is you can add the Tip as another product to your product list.

But this will limit the tip to a specific amount only based on the value you entered.

Another option is you can manually create a Multiple Choice field for your products, then add a calculation value for each of them depending on their price.

Then you can add a Number field that will take any amount the user wants to give as a tip.

Then lastly, you need to create a Form Calculation widget that will calculate the total amount.

Then all you need to do then is to capture the amount shown on the Form Calculation widget and send it to your payment integration. You can check this guide for more details: How to Pass a Calculation to a Payment Field

You can also check out this clone of your form that I made showing the options that I gave you. Feel free to clone it yourself: https://form.jotform.com/213255133051947

I hope this helps. If you need further help, please don't hesitate to reach back out to us. Thank you!
