how to upload document on edit link in the approval email

I also faced the same issue as I need the user to upload a document when he/she receives a request to approve a form, as using the edit link option is confusing as I think if this option is enabled the workflow will start from scratch.
Can you help in this matter by adding the option to upload a document to the workflow elements?
    Thank you,

There is no option in the workflow element regarding uploads however, the only work around is with the send email and edit link.

Can you please share the flow of your form and the form URL of the form you're working on?

It is possible to use the old workflow instead of using the approver flow.

    Here is a guide:https://www.jotform.com/help/432-a-general-approach-on-building-an-approval-process-workflow/

Kindly read pass the sample approver flow to view the old work flow.

    Looking forward for your response.

    Dear Jotform Team:
Please find the link to the form and the approval workflow:

    Approval link:

please advise on how can I let the users upload documents after the if-else condition, if the answer is an advance payment, the user should upload other documents and then continue the flow.
    Thank you,

I have checked your form and you have two upload fields.

May I know which upload field would the user fill once the condition is true?

Can you please share/explain further the flow of your form? Does the user skip the upload and signature fields in your form before editing?

    Looking forward for your response.

    Dear
Thank you for your prompt reply,
Please note that the user shall fill the form normally and upload depends on the selection he selects for the request type field. So, if the user selects advanced payment, the flow will be processed normally until reaching the step if-else condition, then the user should be asked to upload a settlement document and to be mapped with the advance payment document submitted before.
I dont want to use the edit link option as it will trigger the workflow again.
    Please advise.

If you want to allow users to upload images after the submission was already made, the only option is to use the edit submission link.

I inspected your form and the upload fields are required and not conditional, which means that the form can't be submitted without uploading the files.

Regarding the uploads fields, they are mandatory but they are conditional according to the request type selection.
Regarding the edit link, if I added it to the email, the flow will be triggered from the start right? As I should change the flow after editing the submission.
Also, if I added the edit link, can I disable editing all the previously entered fields and enable other fields only, and then the user can submit?.

    Hello,

You can disable restart flow on edit in the approval flow settings.

If you want to hide fields on edit, you can add in the get form URL widget, https://www.jotform.com/widgets/get-form-page-url with this you can setup conditional logic to show/hide fields based on the word edit.
