Allow custom domain to be available to standard users

I see you only offer "custom domains" to your enterprise clients.

    1. ANY business wants a custom domain to:
    2. Avoid concerns from users - especially on financial transactions
    3. minimize 3rd party awareness
    4. reduce complexity and enhance end user experience
    5. brand reinforcement

I can understand the motive why this is limited from JotForms perspective, but know that you have created a severe conflict of interest. We are not questioning if it is possible, as we know it to be possible if one will pay insane amounts of money. Even you have to admit in the Pareto principal regarding your demographics, in that the lion's share of your customers/subscriptions are NOT in favor of the enterprise plans. Why not give us what we need and want? To be fair, I realize, the more people see jotform.com across the web it increases your company's popularity as a platform, but know you're doing this at the expense of your paying clients and I am calling you all out on that tactic. Surely your executive management team can reconsider the approach on this one "custom domain" feature. Ideally you simply just include it, worst case you charge a nominal 1 time (per custom domain fee) add-on fee for those wishing to enable this OPTIONAL - add-on, knowing this will never be enough to compensate you for your potential loss of marketing exposure, but also know you should not be taking advantage of paying customers and not compensating them either for building your companies brand awareness so fair is fair...

    Hello,

If you would like to have a custom domain URL such as: yourdomain.jotform.com, then this feature is only available for Enterprise users. You can consider checking out our Enterprise plan by following this page: Enterprise Form Builder

Otherwise, you can have a custom URL such as: jotform.com/yourusername/yourformurl. You can learn more by following this guide: How to Create a Custom URL of a Form?

    Hello,

It appears you have added the message content to your ticket, as it was previously empty. Kindly allow me some time to get back to you.

I certainly hope Jessica_H that you are a robot and this is an automated answer - otherwise your companies response is why the world is so against corporate greed and the corporate machine these days. We are all trying to make a living out here. It would be nice to see companies be more HUMAN especially in the automation age, which is both a blessing and a curse.

    Hello,

If you would like to use a custom domain from your form, there is a workaround where you can consider embedding your forms into your website instead. After embedding the form, you can share your webpage URL to your user instead of your form's URL. This way, you would not use Jotform URL.

If the workaround provided are not suitable for you or you would simply like to request a feature request for a one-time custom domain fee, we can help you escalate this as a feature request to our back-end team for evaluation, but please note that we are unable to guarantee if it will be implemented.

Functional, not optimal. In certain use cases security settings and 3rd party tools/apps can warn users of this tactic. This is ESPECIALLY troublesome when collecting payment information as SSL certificates become an issue and trigger these warnings to users causing LOWER SALES, LOST REVENUE and other undesirable outcomes given NESTING SSL certs and sites inside of other sites.

Great try to for simple non commerce forms - this workaround is a fair workaround. Even so a simple informational form may cause trepidation for a user to enter any information into a page after receiving such warnings. FOLKS are VERY Security conscious and thier jobs have trained them given the RISE of the RANSOMEWARE - your company simply needs to HELP SECURE THE WEB and give up on this feature and simply include it or as mentioned charge for it but make it available ACROSS all plans.

I also marked this post as PUBLIC and I see it's now (PRIVATE) - your company is CLEARLY DARK and SHADY AS WELL - JUST LIKE BIG TECH CENSORSHIP - do you all HIDE the truth, when the truth HURTS? We can't have this going out publically.... can we? That is ok, I can post this all over the web then and show the intentions of your company. WOW!!!

    Hello David,

I have set the ticket as Public since I did not find any personal details in it. We usually set the ticket as Private if there are sensitive information accidentally mentioned such as phone numbers and email. I have created a feature request ticket for the custom domain to be available to standard users too. As mentioned by my colleague, we can't give an ETA for when this will be implemented. Feature requests depend on the workloads of our developers and popularity among our users. But rest assured that we will inform you via this thread once this feature becomes available.

    Thank you.

Finally, and thank you - hopefully there is a middle ground that can be had here. Currently, its one sided in your favor and hopefully the community can rally around this as being beneficial to them and increases security for them as well because the workarounds are costly and risky to thier business because of the risky user experience of thier customers interacting with these workarounds - despite being functional.

Having this feature really enhances your full offering - ESPECIALLY WITH THE NEW APPS FEATURE RELEASE, this is going to become even more IMPORTANT as adoption of that feature takes off!!

You need to have a plan in place and we need this option besides a work-around or upgrade to the MAX, which is an extreme price jump for most, and the majority of, your client base. Enterprise customers would do well to pick other more appropriate platforms as they have both the money and highly skilled workers who may want more control yet still have the benefits of low-code / no-code. Jotform serves the SMB demographic mostly, with Enterprise being the outlier. Please meet the market demands...

I hear your concern. Please note that we have already escalated this issue to our backend team. Though we cannot provide any ETA on this, but we will get back to you as soon as we have any update from them.
