E-Mail Validator: Shorten the generated code

I use the E-Mail Validator widget.

I get constant complaints from my customers that the verification code is too long. It is a 32 character hexadecimal code. My bank only uses a 6 digit numeric code for two-step verification! I have not found the option in the E-Mail Validator widget to change the parameters of the verification code.

The 32 character code is a really poor way to implement 2-step verification. It frustrates some of my less computer capable customers - who can write down and type in a 6 digit numeric code - but who have issues with copying a pasting a long 32 hexadecimal code word. From an ADA perspective, this is really unacceptable.

Please provide an option to specify the length and character/numeric content of the validation code in the E-Mail Validator widget.

    Thanks,

    Jerry

    Hi Jerry,

Thank you for letting us know about this. And we apologize if there's any inconvenience caused on your user's part.

As of the moment, we can't modify the length of the code being generated by the Email Validator widget.

I'll submit this as a feature request to our Developers for them to possibly add the option to have it modified in the future. Just please take note that we cannot guarantee that this feature will be implemented nor an expected time of when it'll happen.

As soon as we received word about an update related to this issue, we'll inform you via this thread.

We appreciate your time and patience on this matter. Thank you!
