How to restore a filled form

One of my coworkers had filled out a form and was about to submit and accidentally closed out of the tab. When she goes to restore that tab it doesn't have the data saved she had just entered, just the previous version of the form. Is there anyway to get that information back?

I believe EDGE also has this feature to reopen a closed tab. Here's an example:

As you can see, the data in the form was retained, unless he's using a private window which has no reopen closed tab feature.
