How I can redirect users to the previous page after the submission?Asked by vivalasvegans on March 28, 2014 at 03:40 PM
On my HP the user can use (over the text link) the form from different pages...how I can fix this that the user after submit he return to the same page from where he came?ThanksVik
To accomplish what you need you can use our Custom URL function for the Thank You page:
Then Enter the URL where you want your form users to be redirected:
That way your form users will be redirected to the page you wish.
You can also find more information about this feature in this guide: Redirecting users to a different page
I hope this helps. Please inform us if you need further assistance with this inquiry.
thanks for your answer, but I know this solution. The problem is, I need the redirect to the same page where the user came from. For example: on my page you can post comments (over the jotform) from different underpages...so the user send the form and will go back to the same page not to the certain page what I had defined by link.
I hope your understand my problem
Perhaps the best solution would be to not let users leave the page. That would happen if either the default or iFrame version of the form code is embedded in your pages. Please see Adding a Form to a Web Page and Getting the Form iFrame Code. (Which Form Embed Code Should I Use?)
If either of those methods is employed, the thank you message will appear in the space previously occupied by the form. Please let us know if this solution is feasible in your case.
Come to think of it, the Lighbox, Feedback or Pop-up methods
would also keep users on the same page.
Thanks for answer. The option "feedback" was my solution.:-))
Thanks so lot and have nice day or night
