How can I make Paypal payment optional based on a previous Radio choice?

Hello,

I would like to create a form in which submitters can choose to either pay for a product by bank transfer or through Paypal. Whoever pays via bank transfer would have to upload a receipt or payment proof (jpg, pdf...) using the form. I have set up conditions to show the upload button only if the bank transfer payment method is selected, so that part is covered.

However, I cannot seem to find a way to skip Paypal payment if the user chooses to pay via bank transfer when they Submit the form. Are there any configurations or work-arounds to make this possible?

Yes it is possible to achieve that. For that you need to setup conditions so that the paypal field only shows if selected:

This way it is possible to submit the form if selecting the other option.

I have set up those conditions but it will still redirect me to Paypal after I hit Submit instead of showing me the "Thank you" page.

However, I found out that if the Paypal field is set to "multiple products" instead of "single product", those conditions would work fine.

I guess I can work around it like that, although it would have been ideal to have it working with Paypal set to 1 product.

Please take note that by default, if you have 1 item/product ONLY in the paypal field, it becomes selected by default. So, every time the form submitted, it will trigger the condition that the paypal item was selected, thus upon submission, the paypal screen will come up.

Make sure to unselect the paypal items by default also so that the other conditions will work.
