Is there a reason why the CSS adjustments to width and padding does absolutely nothing to the mobile view of my form?

I had a previous request about the zooming in of my input tables every time I clicked the end column to choose from the drop down menu.

So I looked into CSS stuff to alter the look and I changed the overall width of the form to 90%, zero change when I look at it on a mobile device. The questions still span my entire device screen.

I added padding left and right at 10%, zero change again.

I have set everything to SHRINK mode. ZERO CHANGES.

What is going on with the forms when viewed on a mobile device. How do I change this layout?

On your other thread, I saw that you were using iPhone XR. Have you tried using other iPhones or iOS devices? It is highly likely the zooming functionality on iOS is more related to the device, the web page's viewport, and how the browser is rendering the page.

Could you try changing the Font-size of your field elements to 16px? This will prevent the iOS zoom function on the fields.
