I have check boxes I want to tick the fist check box by default tick and if one of the other check boxes is ticked then the first box clears can you provide sample css code so I can achieve this please

Hi again,
May we recommend using Single Choice element instead of Checklist widget. With the Single Choice element, you can set a preselected option, which will automatically be cleared if the enduser chooses a different option. Please see the video below
Selected by Default will allow you to set a preselected option.
Then, if you need to, you can use the CSS in the AdvancedDesigner to add borders and/or change the way the Single Choice form element looks.
