    Hello JF

    I understand that if I

    • create a field (let's call it "name")
    • then integrate the form into a google sheet
    • then change the name of the field (let's call it "Your name")
    • the name of the field in Google sheets will remain "name."

    Is that correct?

This can get complicated when we have many fields, many with similar names, or many changes to field names.

We need to be able to match fields names in the google sheet (that is, the original field name) with field names in the form Build page (that is, the new names). How can we do that?

I would have thought that the Field Details section would be a good place to show the original names, but no luck.

    How can I tell?

    Thanks!

Please note that editing the spreadsheet that is integrated into the form can break the integration and we do not recommend it. Also, editing of the form, such as adding the new fields or editing of the field labels will break the integration.

The only way to solve this is to re-integrate your form again with the Google spreadsheet.

    Thanks.
