Writing a conditional formula with greater than and less thanAsked by Kelly on March 30, 2014 at 01:02 AM
I have been looking for an online form to calculate delivery costs on my website but have had no luck finding something suitable.
Basically this is what I want it to calculate:
If the cost of the order is less than $375, then the delivery fee is $149.
If the cost of the order is more than $375, then the delivery fee is 40% of the order cost.
IF OrderCost<375 THEN Delivery=149 ; IF OrderCost>375 THEN Delivery=(OrderCost*0.4)
Is this possible in JotForm (using the calculator widget), and if so how do I write it? I am no good at these things!
That's possible with the new released conditional logic.
Example Form: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/40882479359975?
Note: Please replace your delivery field with a text box as it would only served as an output field. This might be the only issue on your current setup. Check the demo form.
Hope this helps. Regards!
How would you go about making the same formula however in the newest version of jotform (version 4) as I cant seem to locate the "insert text or mathematical calculation into field". I have reverted back to old version to implement the formula however it still doesnt seem to have the same option. It seems to have the same conditions as version 4 and removed that option. However I want to make the same formula as mentioned here in the newest version.
On version 4, that is called Update/Calculate Field Condition.
