    Hello JF

    We have a form with several Number Properties elements.

    The one where the question is "CSS" has "Limit Entry" selected.

    Min = 0

    Max = 10

    The email to us reporting the values listed says the person entered "00"

    It does not seem that the element should have accepted that.

    Hi there - Unfortunately, 00 is still recognized as 0 so it's being accepted by the number field. I tried filling out your form and confirmed that it's the case. I entered 00001 and no error was shown as it's still 1 when we read it as a number.

    I understand that this doesn't fit your requirement so I suggest using dropdown instead so your users only can choose 0 to 10 and cannot input any other numbers/characters.

    Give it a try and let us know if you need further assistance.

    Dropdown would work, but it is not a good user experience. Easier for them to click a “6” or whatever key, than to have to click to open the dropdown and click to find a number, especially when there are many questions like that.
    Would you please mention this to your developers? 00 is not really a number, and neither is 0000001.

    Hello Robert,

    We understand that it would be much easier to just type the number on the field instead of clicking the dropdown list and finding the number. About the process of the number field in reading values such as 00 or 0001 and considering it as a number, I'll be sure to forward this to our back-end team for their review and consideration. We cannot give an ETA for this but we'll notify you here once there are any updates.

    Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
