I would like to have my free text and headings displayed in the email notification. I spent over an hour digging through the forums, but the only responses that I have seen to this are to copy and paste the text into the notification settings. Not to be negative, but that seems like an unacceptable solution.
Right now, I have a form that includes the terms of a contract. So, does JotForm mean to tell me that anytime those terms change, I need to update them in two places? Not only does that make JotForm less user friendly for managers, but it leaves a big gaping hole for errors. I just can't imagine that as the only solution available, especially since I've seen posts about this issue as far back as 2012.
Hopefully this has already been addressed and I am worked up about nothing. If so, could you provide some information on how to make the text and headings show up in the email notifications?

We do not have such option, but we hope to implement it. I can not provide any ETA, but as far as I know, our team is working on email alerts improvements, so there is a chance that we will see it soon.
At this time you can stick with manually updated email notifications. Also, it is possible to add a download PDF submission link to the email body.
In this case, it is possible to enable 'Show Headers and Texts' option through form Submissions page to automatically include that data into submission PDFs.
We will let you know if we have any updates on the email alerts topic.
